Azure HDInsight is a Microsoft service that enables us to use open-source frameworks for big data analytics. Azure HDInsight allows the use of frameworks like Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, LLAP, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, R, etc., for processing large volumes of data. These tools can be used on data to extract, transform, and load (ETL,) data warehousing, machine learning, and IoT.
Control-M for Azure HDInsight further enables you to do the following:
- Connect to any Azure HDInsight workspace from a single computer with secure login, which eliminates the need to provide authentication.
- Integrate Azure HDInsight jobs with other Control-M jobs into a single scheduling environment.
- Monitor the Azure HDInsight workspace status and view the results in the Monitoring domain.
- Attach an SLA job to your entire Azure HDInsight service.
- Introduce all Control-M capabilities to Azure HDInsight, including advanced scheduling criteria, complex dependencies, quantitative and control resources, and variables.
- Run 50 Azure HDInsight jobs simultaneously per Control-M/Agent.
