BMC AMI DevX is used very widely in the organisation to view/edit flat and VSAM files. Developers rely heavily on the ability to see data in a formatted fashion and modify if needed.

This product makes day-to-day application development much easier.

We use the powerful tools of the BMC AMI DevX range, among others, to debug incidents that occur during program execution. Mainly in our development environments. This is really useful to see the content of the variables during execution. And it's very easy to configure either in batch mode or CICS mode.

Code Debug is a very convinient tool in order to solve some issues , it's very quick to fix some problem with it. And it's better than coding display in the program (we have less work to do to obtain the result).

I believe the time it takes to Deploy a code has reduced, using tools like code insight/analyzer has really made easy to understand my code which intern helps me to make correct code changes and usage of Code Debug to troubleshoot is easier as well

Mainframe developers can release their software earlier. Theay are faster analysing problems with Abend-AID, can faster develop and debug their software with Code Debug and can more easily view their different data using File-AID.

I hear nothing but praise from the developers who are using the tools. Specifically, Code Debug has reduced problem-solving by at least 50%.

BMC AMI DevX in general, and Code Pipeline in particular, provides me with a high quality development experience that builds on the foundation of my decades of experience and adds features and functions that I have often wished for.

Using Code pipeline in Eclipse helped developers to manage their version and to deliver the modifications more easily and safely and faster.

Using BMC AMI DevX is a central part of my job. All products being used are required for different functions in our mainframe.

We can now modernize the developer desktop. They can use Eclipse or VSCode for their day-to-day work. Code Pipeline also provides a better overview of the ongoing change and the capability to fall back quickly in production.

I can debug (expeditor) much faster and more efficiently. In fact, I was asked yesterday to run their job through Workbench Expeditor. I can also view data movement much better.
